Flight problems!
Well the Icelandic volcano is still spewing ash into the air in a massive plume and it’s also affecting DIMA. The teachers from Germany and Poland should be traveling back home this weekend and the new lecturers from the Netherlands should be flying to Finland.
So we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that we’ll have lecturers for the next week. We are planning a plan B for the next week schedule if the sky is still full of ash.
Interesting times! :)

Weekend
Hey!
I was thinking about this weekend and trying to figure out what to do and off course you DIMA-people came to my mind :D So, if you guys are staying in Hämeenlinna this weekend and want to do something, please let me know. I'm desperately trying to get at least something to do :D
(I just noticed that I used "to do" quite a many times :D)

Hello
Hey to you all,
it took for a while to write this blog, but better late than never.
First a few words about me. My name is Mika Kalmi and currently I’m studying Business Information Technology in Hamk (surprise), this is my fifth year in Hamk and my plan is to graduate in December 2010, finally :). Currently I don’t have problems with my free time, because there is no free time. Most of the time I’m working and if I’m not working I usually have some extra projects going on, for example now I’m renovating our new apartment. My tip for all of you is, that please hire somebody else to do the renovation for you, instead doing it by yourself....
I’m living in Tampere with my wife and dog. Tampere is 70 kilometers to North from Hämeenlinna and it is biggest inner city in Nordic countries. So if you are planning to visit in Tampere during your time in Finland please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to meet you all.
Br,
Mika

Sorry for my late post for this blog, but it's been quite busy time. Party after party. Wednesday we did have Hakoteillä Vol. 15 (Studentparty) and thursday I went to Raahe to see how they like to party (600-700km from Hämeenlinna). Now Im back in Hämeenlinna.
SOmething about me. Well, my name is Jere Vekka. I study Business Information Technology in HAMK (surprise!). This is my second year. On my freetime (which I dont have a lot) I like to play football and ice-hockey. I like also travelling and in last year Ive been in 15 different countries. All in europe. My last trip was snowboardin/skiing -trip to Slovakia and Im leaving to Spain on 21th day. So you wont see me last two days of DIMA2010, sry for that.
I think that is all what there is to tell about me. Waiting to see you all.

Spring is finally here!
Just to inform as Jenny already posted, spring is finally here and the temperature is rising :) jeii! There is not that much snow left as last week and it has been forecasted 8 degrees and clear sky for Monday 12th, so hopefully we are able to enjoy sunshine in our camping cottage in Aulanko!!
See you on Monday in the lobby of Cumulus hotel at 8.15. Hopefully you remember to pack your comfortable clothes with you so that you can participate in outside activities. You can also try out a real Finnish sauna if you want — just be sure to bring your swimsuit and towel.
We will travel straight from the uni to the camping cottage, so please take the things that you'll need for the evening with you already in the morning.
With welcoming regards
Sanna
