DIMA 2010

This blog is established for DIMA (Digital Marketing) 2010 -intensive course, coordinated and hosted by HAMK University of Applied Sciences. Intensive weeks will bring together students from five European partner universities to cooperate and share knowledge of digital marketing.

DIMA intensive weeks are organized in Hämeenlinna, Visamäki Campus, starting on Monday 12th of April and lasting until 23rd of April.

Students and staff participating in DIMA 2010 are able to write here in this blog their own thoughts and feelings during intensive weeks. It would be nice to share some learning experiences about cooperation and the course itself but most importantly cultural experiences about Finland. You can also upload pictures here!

Helloooooo Finland, hello everybody :-)

My name is Kathrin Weber, I'm 25 years old and I study Marketing in the 7th semester at Ludwigshafen/Germany.
I'm looking forward to come to Finland and to semple your..."spring" :-)
In Germany it's rely nice and warm, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming....and you've got snow??...Realy?? The cold, white and wet thing?? I think I have to go to the cellar to search for my ski boots and clothes xD ;-) But thank you for your warning :-)

I`m very impressed by your university o0 It looks very very very nice!!!

Something about me... hmmmm... I was born in the beautiful town Heidelberg and went to school in Mannheim. After school leaving examination I was trained as a travel agent. Since March 2007 I study Marketing in Ludwigshafen and for the time being I write my final thesis about loyalty programs.
In my freetime I sing (first of all musicals), play the accordion and sometimes I do horseback rinding :-)

Something about the Germans.... I think one of the most important things you should realize: We know how to party, too ;-)
So be careful xD


My picture was taken in Rome/Italy. My mom and I went there last year...it was cold, too......strange and funny but it's not my fault, I swear!!  :-)

Oh Karri... I've got a Samsung self phone so don't worry :-P xD

    Thank you Kathrin for your nice picture and introduction! You were very quick :) Yes we still have snow here but sun is still shining at least at the moment. I look forward seeing you soon! And yes please take your ski boots and clothes with you just to be sure.
