DIMA 2010

This blog is established for DIMA (Digital Marketing) 2010 -intensive course, coordinated and hosted by HAMK University of Applied Sciences. Intensive weeks will bring together students from five European partner universities to cooperate and share knowledge of digital marketing.

DIMA intensive weeks are organized in Hämeenlinna, Visamäki Campus, starting on Monday 12th of April and lasting until 23rd of April.

Students and staff participating in DIMA 2010 are able to write here in this blog their own thoughts and feelings during intensive weeks. It would be nice to share some learning experiences about cooperation and the course itself but most importantly cultural experiences about Finland. You can also upload pictures here!

Hey there :),
my name is Nanina and I am one of the German students who is taking part at DIMA2010. I am 24 years old and I am studying Marketing in the 6th Semester at the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen in Germany. Besides my studies I work a lot – I have two different jobs. On the one hand I am working at the wellness- and fitness-area of the Marriott Hotel in Heidelberg and on the other hand I do a lot of different promotion jobs.
I guess I am supposed to describe myself …but I don`t know exactly what to tell. I would say it is better to get to know each other for real. But well I will try it very short…I think I am a fun-loving, very reliable  and honest person who  always says what she think. I love travelling and getting to know other countries and cultures…so guess what…I really can`t wait to meet all of you. If you want to talk or getting to know each other before Sunday you are very welcome to add me on facebook!

What is typical for Germany? Hmmm let me think…I would say that Germans are very friendly, organized and tolerant. A bad thing can be – it depends on the situation – that we are kind of pedantic. Another thing Germany is known for is definitely the very good German cake :-)

    Yes, I did it, I did it lol...No it is not Paris...I mean-kind of...Actually it is me standing in front of the "Paris-Hotel" in Las Vegas last spring. Everything looks like real...you should see the "Venetian" or "New york New York" it is fabulous...

    Yes to be honest- it was wonderful. We were celebrating my best friends birthday combined with a 2weeks holiday...! Don`t envy me...you should go there:-)if you know which hotel and airline you should take it is pretty cheap ;)...there are more pics on fb...
